Pamela Taylor Biography

Pamela Taylor was born in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, in 1941.

Studied painting at Bath Academy of Art, Corsham, when the Academy was flourishing under the influence of artists such as Howard Hodgkin and Gillian Ayres.

After a much chequered career in the Arts, mainly lecturing in colleges, but always painting, she opened Spectrum Gallery in 1983.

Paintings are varied in subject and executed in oils or mixed media.
